Job summary

Clifford Chance is seeking an Associate to work on some of the world's largest and most complex M&A transactions. You will join cross-border, interdisciplinary teams providing integrated services across public takeovers, private M&A, joint ventures and restructurings for multinational clients.

You will advise on corporate finance activities, ensure compliance with local laws, and develop client relationships while contributing to thought leadership initiatives.

Qualifications

• Solid background in corporate work, gained at a city firm or overseas common law practice.
• Proactive Associates who create bespoke solutions for clients' objectives.
• Excellent document drafting skills with strong communication and analytical abilities.
• appetite for business development and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Advise on complex, multi-jurisdictional M&A, private equity, joint ventures and restructurings.
• Provide corporate advisory support across sectors including financial services, energy, healthcare and technology.
• Work in cross-border, interdisciplinary teams to advise on corporate finance activities and ensure compliance with local laws.
• Develop relationships with clients and engage in business development and thought leadership initiatives.
• Draft legal documents clearly and concisely, delivering commercial solutions to multinational clients.
