Job summary

QCS Staffing is recruiting a Global Lead Electrical Engineer for an exciting remote UK permanent role. You will lead the global electrical engineering strategy for data centre projects, acting as the primary power systems SME and shaping concepts and designs across regions.

You will mentor regional teams, engage with clients and senior stakeholders, and drive best practices and standardisation across multi-country projects, including pre-construction and feasibility studies.

Qualifications

• Extensive data centre electrical engineering experience in hyperscale or mission-critical environments.
• Expert knowledge of power systems including 400kV infrastructure, substations, MV/LV distribution, UPS, switchgear and protection.
• Strong experience in pre-construction, concept engineering, bids and feasibility studies.
• Proven ability to engage with clients and senior stakeholders while providing technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead global electrical engineering strategy for data centre projects as the primary power systems SME.
• Develop and review electrical concepts, power architectures and critical infrastructure designs during pre-construction.
• Support client engagements, technical workshops, bids and stakeholder meetings on complex electrical matters.
• Mentor regional engineering teams and drive engineering best practice and standardisation globally.
