Job summary

Edbury Daley is recruiting for an experienced IT procurement professional to join a leading global consultancy's IT & Technology Procurement practice. You will manage client engagements, lead workstreams, and apply category expertise to deliver measurable outcomes across IT categories.

The role is highly client-facing, requiring ownership of initiatives, senior stakeholder engagement, and delivery of complex sourcing and transformation programmes in a flexible, hybrid working model with travel

Qualifications

• 8+ years' IT procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Global IT procurement experience across IT categories.
• Expertise in Enterprise Software, IT Services and/or Cloud & Hosting.
• Experience managing large tech spend portfolios (>$50m annually).
• Consulting experience or close work with consultancies is preferred.
• Strong Excel and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams across global client engagements.
• Develop and execute IT procurement and category strategies.
• Lead complex sourcing and commercial initiatives end-to-end.
• Conduct supplier research, market analysis and commercial assessments.
• Translate data into clear, actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve value and supplier performance.
• Track benefits and ensure delivery aligns with milestones.
• Engage senior client stakeholders and align priorities.
• Lead workshops and senior stakeholder discussions.
• Contribute to growth of the broader consulting practice.
• Communicate recommendations clearly to client and internal teams.
