Job summary

Edbury Daley is partnering with a leading global consultancy to recruit into its IT & Technology Procurement practice. This client-facing role combines deep category expertise with consulting and transformation delivery across major organisations.

You will own and lead workstreams, engage senior stakeholders and apply procurement expertise to solve complex commercial challenges in IT, software, services and cloud. Travel may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience within IT procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Strong experience operating across global IT procurement categories.
• Deep subject-matter expertise in Enterprise Software, IT Services and/or Cloud & Hosting.
• Experience managing or influencing significant technology spend portfolios, ideally in excess of $50m annually.
• Strong indirect procurement knowledge and experience delivering complex sourcing and category initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing teams across global client engagements.
• Developing and executing IT procurement and category strategies.
• Leading complex sourcing and commercial initiatives from opportunity identification through to implementation.
• Conducting supplier research, market analysis and commercial assessments.
• Building robust fact bases and translating data into actionable insights.
• Identifying opportunities to improve value, supplier performance and commercial outcomes.
• Tracking benefits and ensuring delivery remains aligned with milestones.
• Working closely with client stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities.
• Leading workshops and senior stakeholder discussions.
• Communicating recommendations and insights clearly to client and internal teams.
• Contributing to the growth of the wider consulting practice.
