Job summary

CapeClarke is seeking an Intellectual Property Solicitor in London with 2–4 PQE to join a leading US law firm. You will work on market-leading IP and technology matters, including licensing and cross-border projects across the UK, Europe and US.

You will advise on AI, emerging technologies and data regulation, with exposure to high-profile clients and opportunities for career progression in a collaborative global team.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' PQE in a leading IP/tech practice.
• Strong IP, technology and commercial transactions experience.
• Licensing, contracts and licensing expertise.
• Experience advising on AI, emerging technologies or digital regulation.
• Solid knowledge of UK GDPR and data protection.
• Excellent academics and client-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise on market-leading IP/tech transactions and licensing.
• Handle IP licensing and commercialization projects.
• Contribute to AI governance, digital regulation work.
• Assist on cross-border matters across UK, Europe and US.
• Mentor junior lawyers and support business development.
