Job summary

GSK seeks a leader to design and drive interventional clinical studies within Medical Affairs. You will shape data generation, ensure high-quality practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results while advancing patient outcomes.

You will engage with investigators and regulators, lead global studies, and contribute to publications and submissions. Hybrid role with offices in the UK or US locations.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline (MD/PhD/PharmD or equivalent).
• Substantial experience leading interventional clinical studies in oncology/haematology/immunology and related areas.
• Strong regulatory and ethics understanding with high-quality study design.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee interventional clinical studies aligned with strategy and evidence plans.
• Facilitate medical governance, review safety data and guide risk mitigation actions.
• Provide scientific oversight for study protocols and analysis plans.
• Ensure patient safety and scientific integrity throughout study conduct.
• Collaborate across functions to deliver clinical programs and publications.
• Present study results for scientific meetings and regulatory submissions.
• Engage investigators and key opinion leaders to enhance study design.
