Job summary

Arup is seeking an Insurance Manager to safeguard global assets by leading insurance programmes. Reporting to the Group Head of Insurance, you will advise on policy interpretation, claims handling, and risk mitigation, while negotiating terms with brokers and insurers.

You’ll collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Risk Management, and support project and bid teams with insurance needs. Ideal candidates have construction or professional services insurance experience, ACII qualification, strong

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance within construction or professional services.
• ACII or equivalent insurance/risk qualification.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• Confident verbal and written communicator, able to advise across levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with brokers and insurers and coordinate coverage.
• Assess insurable risks and ensure policy wordings meet requirements.
• Advise on policy interpretation, claims management and risk mitigation.
• Prepare underwriting information for renewals and mid-term changes.
• Support procurement of project-specific insurance policies.
• Monitor emerging risks and contribute to process improvements.
