Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking an experienced Technology Procurement professional to join our Group Procurement team, focusing on Infrastructure software, databases, middleware and enterprise platforms. You will shape sourcing strategies, lead negotiations with top vendors and manage a portfolio of strategic suppliers across a global enterprise.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Legal and Vendor Management to deliver value, resilience and long-term technology

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Technology Procurement, Category Management or Strategic Sourcing.
• Proven track record negotiating complex software agreements and licensing arrangements.
• Strong understanding of software commercial models (subscription, SaaS, perpetual).
• Ability to translate technical requirements into commercial strategies.
• Proven influencing skills with senior leaders.
• Experience in large, regulated organisations.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategies across database, middleware and software.
• Lead complex sourcing, contract negotiations and supplier discussions.
• Manage high-value renewals and licensing optimisation.
• Governance, risk management and supplier performance reviews.
• Collaborate with engineering and business leaders to evaluate options.
