Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Principal Solution Architect to lead architecture and customer engagements for PI Data Infrastructure and CONNECT Digital Twin initiatives in a hybrid role based in Cambridge, UK. You will drive scalable industrial data solutions and guide global teams to deliver value across energy, utilities, and manufacturing sectors.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in solution architecture, consulting or industrial software delivery.
• Deep PI Data Infrastructure experience: PI Server, PI Vision, PI DataLink and AF.
• Strong industrial domain knowledge across energy, utilities, mining, manufacturing, or data centres.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and customer engagement for PI DI and CONNECT Digital Twin.
• Run workshops, gather requirements, and translate them into robust system designs.
• Define standards, templates, and rollout approaches for multi-site deployments.
• Collaborate across product management, services, sales, pre-sales and delivery.
• Mentor multi-disciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and developers.
