Job summary

SailGP is seeking a Global Impact Lead to shape and drive SailGP’s environmental and social impact strategy from our London offices. The role collaborates with partners, teams and venues to translate strategy into action across events, operations and the broader ecosystem.

The successful candidate will lead measurable, scalable programs, maintain certifications, and develop partnerships that support the league’s growth while upholding a strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Experience in sport or major events is preferred.
• Proven ability to develop strategy and deliver measurable results.
• Strong program management across budgets, stakeholders and multiple workstreams.
• Commercially minded with experience scaling purpose-led programmes.
• Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own SailGP’s impact strategy with clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Develop and deliver scalable impact programs with partners and venues.
• Provide strategic direction for youth, women’s development and social impact initiatives.
• Embed responsible business operations across teams, events, operations and partners.
• Maintain environmental certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 20121) and climate action reporting.
• Lead carbon footprinting, reporting, and climate transition planning with partners.
• Develop partnerships, funding opportunities, and revenue streams for sustainability.
• Coordinate priorities, budgets, stakeholders and delivery across a global portfolio.
• Represent SailGP in commercial and thought leadership engagements on CSR.
