Job summary

SailGP’s London offices in Kensington seek a Global Impact Lead to steer SailGP’s impact strategy and deliver programs across events, teams and partners. You will translate ambition into measurable actions, embedding sustainability across operations and partnerships while supporting scalable growth for a fast-paced global sport and entertainment brand.

You’ll work with internal teams and external partners, drive carbon accounting and reporting, and shape reputational strategy as SailGP expands

Qualifications

• Experience in sport or major events.
• Significant sustainability/ESG experience, ideally in sport or events.
• Knowledge of carbon management systems and ISO 14001/ISO 20121.
• Ability to develop strategy and deliver measurable results.
• Strong program management across budgets, stakeholders and teams.
• Commercially minded with ability to scale purpose-led programmes.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own SailGP’s impact strategy with prioritized programs and measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with teams, partners, and venues to scale impact programs.
• Provide strategic direction for youth, women’s development and social impact.
• Embed responsible business practices across teams, events, suppliers and partners.
• Maintain environmental certifications and climate action reporting.
• Identify partnerships and funding opportunities to support growth.
