Job summary

Camlin Group in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Officer to promote a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible workplace across Camlin and its divisions.

You will lead the development and review of HSE policies, conduct local and international site inspections, deliver training and toolbox talks, maintain records, and drive continuous improvement in safety culture.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as HSE Officer.
• Strong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to satellite locations globally.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing HSE policies and risk assessments.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and incident investigations; track corrective actions.
• Deliver HSE training, inductions, and toolbox talks Group-wide.
• Maintain records of incidents and compliance using HSE systems.
• Collaborate to ensure Safe Systems of Work are in place and followed.
• Monitor contractor compliance and support pre-qualification/due diligence.
• Promote emergency preparedness, including fire safety and evacuation procedures.
• Assist environmental monitoring and sustainability initiatives.
• Stay updated on legislation, standards, and industry developments.
