Job summary

Malt is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support the UK, Belgium, Netherlands and UAE with a focus on the UK market. Based in London with hybrid work, you will partner with country representatives and lead local people programs that align with Malt's growth and culture.

You will translate global HR strategies into local actions, coach leaders, ensure compliance, and drive data-informed decision making across offices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HRBP / People Partner in a fast-paced scale-up, Tech/SaaS environment, or international matrix structure.
• Excellent knowledge of UK labour law regulations (exposure to Belgian, Dutch, or UAE frameworks is a plus).
• Strong understanding of financial and operational drivers, with a track record of guiding teams through organizational change and controlling people/workplace costs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to empower managers, guide leadership development, and handle sensitive employee relations confidently.
• Data-informed, pragmatic and able to balance strategic advisory with hands-on execution, aligned with Malt’s values.
• Fluent in English; French or Dutch fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate global HR strategies into local initiatives with Centers of Excellence and Functional HR.
• Coach regional managers on performance management, talent mapping and career progression.
• Ensure local labour law compliance and employee relations with legal counsel.
• Own local office workplace management within budget and reinforce Malt culture.
• Advise local leaders on organizational design, budgets and market intelligence.
