Job summary

EMBL is seeking an experienced HR Partner to amplify our strategic and operational HR footprint across the organisation. You will guide managers, shape People Plans and deliver value-added HR services with a data-driven mindset.

You will build strong stakeholder relationships, coach leaders, and drive high performance while supporting inclusive workforce strategies in a diverse, international environment.

Qualifications

• Degree educated with HR qualification or equivalent apprenticeship
• Strong business partnering experience and project management
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making
• Facilitation and communication skills for engaging diverse audiences
• Ability to influence change across organisational levels
• Knowledge of employment legislation and compliance in intergovernmental contexts
• Experience navigating conflict and implementing HR initiatives in dynamic teams

Responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance on policies and practices and deliver People Plans
• Advise and coach managers to implement the people agenda and build trust
• Assist staffing with inclusivity and fair processes
• Develop solutions using data and insights to support strategy
• Drive high performance and manage underperformance where needed
• Collaborate across HR to deliver major people-centric projects and processes
• Act as change agent for new HR processes and adoption of HR technology
