Job summary

Pearson Whiffin Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our growing global business in East Kent. This role focuses on employee relations, appraisals, salary reviews and onboarding, with potential travel for international teams. CIPD Level 5 qualification preferred, though strong HR experience is also welcomed.

The ideal candidate will be office-based, willing to work from the East Kent location and contribute to a collaborative HR function supporting a dynamic workforce.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Generalist with broad HR remit.
• Strong employee relations skills and conflict resolution.
• Experience with onboarding and performance reviews.
• Knowledge of salary review processes and compensation basics.
• Experience handling international employee matters is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers.
• Support employee development, training and ongoing performance reviews.
• Assist with HR policies, procedures and employment legislation compliance.
• Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Support international employee matters, including work permits and visas.
• Contribute to initiatives that improve employee engagement and workplace culture.
• Assist with onboarding and other key stages of the employee lifecycle.
• Provide guidance on general HR matters and support managers with people-related issues.
• Help coordinate organizational changes and wider HR projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and the employee experience.
• Support workforce planning and career development initiatives.
