Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to own HR operations, payroll, benefits and the employee lifecycle for a multi-country workforce. Based in Woolpit, Suffolk, you will partner with international leadership and act as the primary HR contact for employees across key global locations.

Reporting to an overseas HR leader, you will drive UK HR activities, payroll coordination and benefit administration while ensuring compliance and robust HR data reporting.

Qualifications

• Broad HR Generalist experience across HR operations and employee lifecycle.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience managing or supporting payroll processes (essential).
• Experience administering employee benefits.
• Familiarity with HR/payroll systems and strong reporting ability (Excel).
• Confidence advising managers and employees on HR matters.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive in identifying improvements and driving change.
• Strong communication skills across levels and functions.

Responsibilities

• Own HR operations for a global employee population and act as local SME outside US.
• Manage end-to-end onboarding, offboarding and lifecycle administration.
• Coordinate monthly payroll activities across multiple international locations.
• Administer employee benefits and liaise with external providers.
• Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
• Provide guidance on HR policies and employment legislation.
• Support managers with employee relations and workplace issues.
• Produce HR and payroll reports and analyse people data.
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws and company policies.
• Support HR systems improvements and changes.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders to deliver high-quality HR service.
