Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a hands-on HR Generalist based in Woolpit, Suffolk. The role covers HR operations, payroll, benefits and employee lifecycle for a multi-country workforce, reporting to an overseas HR leader and serving as the local expert for non-US HR activities.

You will own onboarding/offboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, records maintenance and HR policy guidance, while supporting managers on employee relations and data reporting.

Qualifications

• Broad HR Generalist experience across onboarding, payroll, benefits and lifecycle
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
• Experience managing or supporting payroll processes
• Knowledge of employee benefits administration
• Experience using HR and payroll systems with strong Excel/reporting capability
• Confidence advising managers and employees on HR matters
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
• Proactive approach to improvements and process changes
• Strong communication skills with ability to build relationships across levels
• Interest in international HR and supporting a globally dispersed workforce

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end onboarding, offboarding and employee lifecycle administration
• Coordinating monthly payroll activities across multiple international locations
• Administering employee benefits and liaising with external providers
• Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Providing advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation
• Supporting managers with employee relations matters and workplace issues
• Producing HR and payroll reports and analysing people data
• Ensuring compliance with local employment legislation and company policies
• Supporting continuous improvement of HR systems, processes and ways of working
• Working closely with international stakeholders to deliver a high-quality HR service
• Taking ownership of HR administration outside of the US operation and becoming the local subject matter expert
• Office-based role in Woolpit, Suffolk with strong relationships across the business
