Job summary

AVASK Global Compliance Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join the Group HR team in Southampton. You will provide hands-on HR guidance across the full employee lifecycle and act as a key contact for employees and managers across the Group.

The role, reporting to the Group HR Manager, offers exposure to international HR activities and projects, working at a group level with stakeholders across countries and functions.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR experience in a corporate or multi-entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience with payroll administration and employee lifecycle processes.
• Experience supporting employee relations matters and recruitment.
• Ability to produce HR reports and analyse people data.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line HR advice and support to employees and managers on HR policies and queries.
• Manage onboarding, probation reviews, contracts changes, promotions, transfers and offboarding.
• Prepare employment documentation including contracts and variations to terms.
• Maintain confidential HR records and GDPR compliance.
• Support payroll, benefits, audits and employee pay queries.
• Coordinate recruitment campaigns from posting to offer stage.
• Coordinate learning and development activities and training records.
• Handle routine employee relations issues and disciplinary cases.
• Produce HR reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Support HR projects, policy reviews and process improvements.
