Job summary

Apex Group Ltd (UK Branch) is hiring a Group Head of External Reporting to lead the management reporting suite for Board, PE shareholders and lenders. You will drive governance, timeliness and quality of communications, coordinating with FP&A, M&A, and regional finance leads across the group.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, extensive post‑qualification experience, and the ability to manage a global team within a complex ERP environment such as Workday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive commentary.
• Strong technical skills with large data sets.
• Knowledge of Workday and Adaptive Planning is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and accuracy essential.
• Minimum 10 years post‑qualification experience.
• Demonstrated team player in a global team.
• Ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Motivate and empower team members and ensure timely, high‑quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management results deck for Board and stakeholders.
• Own proforma and upcoming acquisition reporting.
• Produce monthly capital structure and liquidity reporting.
• Oversee monthly segment results and executive summaries.
• Oversee monthly synergy reporting and KPI metrics.
• Prepare quarterly lender decks and respond to queries.
• Manage Bonus Scorecard input for governance.
• Provide timely answers to shareholder and lender inquiries.
• Lead reporting improvements in Workday and standardise reports.
