Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.Com is seeking a Head of Data Governance to lead enterprise data and AI governance strategy, data product standards and change portfolio across markets. Reporting to the VP Data & Analytics, you will partner with Technology, Legal and InfoSec to define frameworks that enable safe, high‑quality data‑driven decision making.

You will build reusable data contracts, establish data quality and lineage, and drive adoption of governance tooling.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data governance, data management and enterprise data strategy.
• Proven ability to establish AI governance frameworks including model risk and data provenance.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA and AI Act implications across markets.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders across Technology, Legal and business functions.

Responsibilities

• Set the direction for enterprise data and AI governance across markets.
• Partner with Technology, Product, Legal and InfoSec to embed governance in platforms and processes.
• Champion responsible AI with frameworks for model risk and data quality.
• Raise data quality standards with data stewardship and lineage practices.
• Build data contracts and lifecycle standards to enable reuse and reduce duplication.
• Shape data strategy with leadership to prioritise initiatives and measure ROI.
• Define governance tooling requirements and enable scalable implementation with Platform teams.
• Drive adoption of data-driven behaviours and develop data literacy across teams.
• Protect the data ecosystem with regulatory compliance and third‑party governance.
• Lead and develop a high-performing governance team.
