Job summary

Schroders is seeking an experienced senior technology leader to drive complex technology delivery in a global financial services setting. You will lead cross-functional teams around the Salesforce ecosystem and Seismic enablement, delivering platform-centric outcomes that align with regulatory and commercial priorities.

You will shape priorities, coach teams, manage governance, and influence senior stakeholders, ensuring delivery excellence across a large technology estate.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experience in technology within asset management or financial services.
• Proven ability to define and execute platform strategies across large estates.
• Strong understanding of modern architecture, cloud-native designs, APIs and data platforms.
• Experience delivering Salesforce-enabled client lifecycle capabilities and marketing tech ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the strategic direction of the Client Group Technology platform.
• Drive a cohesive strategy aligning business and technology with data and AI at the core.
• Lead the evolution of a platform-centric architecture with Salesforce as core CRM infrastructure.
• Establish a process-driven operating model for design, build, run and optimise.
• Deliver measurable business outcomes with scalable, efficient processes.
• Partner with senior business stakeholders to shape demand and investments.
• Drive disciplined platform governance across SDLC, architecture and risk management.
• Own and manage a technology budget of circa £30m.
• Lead, develop and oversee approximately 50 technology professionals.
• Leverage emerging technologies to unlock new capabilities and improve outcomes.
