Job summary

UCB is seeking a Global Head - Integrated Evidence Generation to lead the development and execution of evidence plans for designated medicines. Based in Slough, you will collaborate across global stakeholders to deliver robust, timely evidence translating into patient value.

You will drive strategy, manage budgets, and oversee RWE studies, with a focus on maximizing asset value via cross-functional partnerships and leadership presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience, including product launch and Medical Affairs/Market Access/Clinical Development experience.
• Demonstrated experience at regional/global level in delivering integrated evidence generation strategy, planning and execution to maximize asset value for patients.
• Strong experience in data interpretation and impactful communication to internal and external stakeholders; broad understanding of methodologies for robust data generation, including RWE and observational studies.
• Experience in establishing successful external stakeholder interactions and collaborations as part of medical strategy execution.
• Strong strategic and business acumen; anticipation of industry trends and ability to analyze complex data.
• Digital & AI fluency: ability to leverage digital technologies and AI-enabled solutions to enhance evidence generation and decision-making.
• Adaptability in a complex, fluid environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides a strategic overview of activities for the asset to the Asset (Medical Community) Team in terms of gaps, priorities, tactics, delivery and expected impact.
• Develops asset evidence generation strategy and ensures timely development and maintenance of the plan in line with asset strategy to maximize impact.
• Works with stakeholders to understand evidence needs, priorities and opportunities for external partnerships.
• Facilitates cross-functional plan and alignment across geographies.
• Communicates key decisions to relevant stakeholders.
• Develops budget for the asset to execute the plan.
• Ensures studies align to strategy and represent best investment for impact.
• Leads project proposal approvals for each study entering the plan.
• Ensures timely delivery of the plan and oversight of execution.
• Tracks performance with KPIs and incentives.
• Leads prioritization of Post Hoc analyses and ensures timely delivery.
