Job summary

Lord Accounting & Finance is seeking a recently qualified accountant to join its finance team in a broad, commercially focused role within a private investment environment in the UK. The role will cover financial accounting, statutory reporting, tax compliance and strong financial control across a multi-entity group.

Qualifications

• Recently ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Degree educated preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial accounting, statutory reporting and compliance across a group structure.
• Prepare audit files for multiple entities and liaise with external accounting service providers.
• Oversee VAT, corporation tax, capital gains tax and other obligations; maintain strong financial controls.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations; review intercompany positions, loans and shareholder equity.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processes with proper audit trails.
