Reuters in London is seeking an experienced Agricultural Commodities Correspondent to cover global grain markets. The role is hybrid in London, with travel to conferences and industry events, reporting to the Global Softs Correspondent within the Commodities & Energy team.

You’ll break news, produce agenda-setting enterprise stories, and explain market and policy developments to diverse audiences. Five+ years in commodities reporting and deep sourcing are required.

Qualifications

• At least five years of reporting experience covering commodities, agriculture and/or trade.
• Ability to develop deep sources and break exclusive news.
• Skilled with data, trade statistics, and multimedia tools.

Responsabilités

• Cover global grain and agricultural commodity markets from breaking news to long-form stories.
• Break news on trade flows, export policies, and supply disruptions.
• Produce enterprise and investigative stories on forces shaping global food markets.
• Build sources across governments, traders, and importers; collaborate with Reuters teams.
