Reuters is seeking an ambitious Agricultural Commodities Correspondent to cover global grain markets from London, with travel to conferences and industry events. The role involves breaking news, enterprise reporting, and collaboration across Reuters teams to explain how market shifts affect governments, consumers and investors.

The ideal candidate has five years of experience in commodities or trade reporting, strong data skills, and the ability to work quickly under pressure.

Formación

• Five years of reporting experience covering commodities, agriculture and/or trade.
• Ability to develop deep sources and break exclusive news.
• Experience using data, trade statistics, analytics tools and multimedia tools.

Responsabilidades

• Market coverage of global grain and agricultural commodity markets, from breaking developments to long-form stories.
• Break news on trade flows, export policies, government tenders, sanctions, tariffs, crop failures and supply disruptions.
• Generate and execute original ideas for enterprise and investigative stories on forces transforming global food markets.
• Build deep sources across governments, traders and food companies to report responses to market shifts.
• Collaborate with Reuters reporters across agriculture, trade, energy, commodities, shipping and geopolitics to deliver distinguished journalism.
