Job summary

Lush is seeking a Lead Creative Gift Designer in Poole (or London) to drive the creative development of the Gifts category. You will shape the category vision, lead collaborations with artists, and translate strategy into commercially successful collections.

The role involves global coordination, partnerships, and end-to-end design leadership. The position requires crafting compelling presentations, guiding international teams, and managing briefs and budgets while championing innovative

Qualifications

• Strong track record in collection development, storytelling, concept generation, and translating macroeconomic/cultural trends into tangible product ranges.
• Deep knowledge of packaging structures, print processes, and material exploration within a retail or product-led environment.
• Practical experience partnering with external artists, managing agency relationships, and handling copyright/licensing contracts.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across diverse international teams and present confidently to senior founders.
• Adept at writing comprehensive creative briefs, managing minor creative budgets, and directing design execution from concept to final sample.

Responsibilities

• Creative Direction & Strategy: Shape category vision and translate market insights into viable concept collections.
• Packaging Innovation & Concept Development: Collaborate with Packaging Team to develop innovative formats and materials.
• Artist Partnerships & Licensing: Manage relationships with external artists and licensing contracts.
• Global Creative Collaboration: Guide international teams with design direction and inspiration packs.
• Project Execution & Brand Advocacy: Write briefs, manage budgets, and act as brand ambassador for gifts.
