Job summary

Wesco International is seeking a Supervisor - Accounting to oversee accounting staff across AP, AR, general ledger and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and Local GAAP where required. You will lead month-end close, prepare journal entries, and drive process improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in accounting or finance, 5 years of accounting experience, and a supervisory background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 5 years of accounting experience required.
• 1+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• CIMA/ACA/ACCA/ICAEW/CPA qualification preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and Local GAAP desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and staff.
• Lead month-end close, journal entries, and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of general ledger.
• Bridge US GAAP to Local GAAP for EMEA entities.
• Coordinate with external auditors and improve processes.
