Job summary

Universal Music Group is seeking a Group FP&A Analyst to lead financial review of a portfolio of territories, delivering insights on revenue, profitability and cash flow. You will partner with local finance teams and report to Global FP&A to support CFO and Board with timely analytics and presentations.

The role requires a professional accounting qualification and strong Excel modelling skills. A music industry interest is preferred; London office with a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem solving to interpret financial data.
• Experience building and maintaining robust financial models; macros/automation a plus.
• Clear presenter of financial results to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take primary FP&A responsibility for a portfolio of territories and liaise with local Finance teams.
• Perform variance analysis comparing actuals, forecasts and budgets to explain drivers and risks.
• Analyse cash flow performance and forecasts, identifying key drivers of working capital.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for Group/Divisional performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Support CFO, Group Controller and Board with financial analysis and presentations.
• Assist with Group forecasting, budgeting and long‑term planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and Group accounting policies with Finance teams.
• Provide ad hoc analysis support to senior stakeholders.
