Birmingham City University's Department of Computing invites applications for a Lecturer in Applied Computing. The Flying Faculty arrangement includes spending at least one semester in China each academic year as part of the BIFCA team.

We seek candidates with practical development expertise in software, cloud computing, web development, game development, virtual production or embedded systems, and proven ability to teach and engage with diverse student cohorts.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience in higher education or presenting to technical audiences.
• Core development experience with evidence in at least one area.
• Ability to contribute to teaching across multiple computing disciplines.
