Job summary

Marks Sattin Executive Search is partnering with a PE-backed international life sciences business to appoint a Group Financial Controller. The role reports to the Group CFO and interacts with senior leadership to strengthen the Group finance function during a period of investment and growth.

The successful candidate will own group reporting, accounting, audit, tax, controls and governance, driving improvements across an offshore/shared services model, ERP systems and automation while staying

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or ACMA membership required.
• Experience as a Group Financial Controller in a PE-backed international business.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and group reporting expertise.
• Hands-on finance leader who can manage day-to-day accounting and reporting.
• Experience with offshore/shared service finance teams and ERP/SAP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee group reporting, consolidation, statutory accounts and audit.
• Lead tax, controls and governance frameworks across the international group.
• Strengthen finance operation, processes, systems and shared service model.
• Collaborate with CFO and senior stakeholders, lenders and investors.
• Prepare for growth, due diligence and potential exits.
