Job summary

CIPD is seeking a Financial Controller to lead financial control across the organisation and our international entities. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will manage four direct reports and drive improvements in controls, balance sheet integrity and system effectiveness (NetSuite and Salesforce).

This hands-on role requires a qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge and a track record of delivering across complex multi-entity environments.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA and strong technical accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial controls and statutory reporting across CIPD and international entities.
• Oversee audit, treasury, cash management, and balance sheet integrity.
• Develop the team of eight and raise standards across the function.
• Collaborate with Head of FP&A and colleagues across CIPD to improve processes and systems.
