Job summary

Pure Search is seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to lead global financial reporting, control, governance and shared services in a large international business. Reporting to the Group CFO, you will oversee multinational consolidations, multi-currency reporting, and robust controls within a complex environment.

The role requires ACA qualification, Big 4 experience, and a proven track record in finance transformation and ERP systems such as Oracle.

Qualifications

• ACA qualification (or equivalent), ideally trained within a Big 4 environment.
• Significant experience in Group Financial Control, Financial Reporting or Corporate Reporting roles.
• Experience managing complex international consolidations and multi-entity reporting structures.
• Strong ERP and finance systems experience - Oracle preferred.
• Demonstrable leadership experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
• Exposure to finance transformation, process improvement, automation or AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reporting.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Financial Controller to join a large international consumer-facing business.

Backed by a leading global private equity investor, the organisation is undergoing significant transformation and growth, with a substantial finance modernisation agenda focused on systems, processes, controls, data and reporting. This role offers the opportunity to play a key leadership role in building a best-in-class finance function within a complex international environment.

Reporting directly to the Group CFO, the Group Financial Controller will lead global financial reporting, control, governance and shared services activities while supporting strategic growth initiatives and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Oversee group consolidations, multi-currency reporting and complex entity structures.
• Develop and enhance financial controls, governance frameworks and reporting processes.
• Lead external audit activities and manage relationships with auditors and advisers.
• Partner with regional finance teams to drive consistency, transparency and best practice.
• Support treasury, working capital and cash management initiatives.
