Job summary

The HALO Trust is seeking a Finance Officer to support international programmes from Milton Keynes, UK. The role focuses on high-quality financial analysis, budgeting, donor compliance, and operational support to enable effective project delivery.

You will collaborate with programme teams worldwide, ensuring robust financial management and reporting while contributing to the NGO’s mission of making land safe.

Qualifications

• Strong, demonstrable experience in a finance role.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate donor financial reports and fund requests.
• Develop donor budgets using HALO’s planning system (Adaptive Insights).
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial monitoring of grants and contracts.
• Prepare monthly journals and reconcile partner financial reports.
• Ensure donor regulations, statutory requirements, and audits are supported.
