Job summary

NFP People LTD is advertising a Programme Finance & Compliance Advisor in Milton Keynes. The role combines financial management, compliance, and risk oversight to enable the delivery of grants and contracts within donor expectations and regulatory requirements.

You will work with colleagues across the charity and donor partners, applying sound judgement and influencing others to ensure resources are stewarded responsibly.

Qualifications

• Professional accountancy qualification or part-qualification with relevant practical experience.
• Experience supporting donor-funded grants and/or commercial contracts through the funding lifecycle.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills.
• Experience applying donor financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience undertaking due diligence, audit preparation and financial assurance activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Protect organisational resources and strengthen donor confidence.
• Ensure funding opportunities are financially robust and compliant.
• Advise colleagues on complex financial and compliance matters.
• Balance donor expectations with organisational priorities and risk controls.
