Job summary

Adzuna is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to own accounting and financial control across our global operations. You will report to the CFO and oversee daily accounting within a lean team, including multi-entity consolidation, tax compliance, payroll, and equity administration across UK, US, France, Germany and Australia.

You will coordinate audits, partner with regional specialists, and drive robust financial controls as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA certification.
• Experience as Senior Finance Manager or Financial Controller in high growth tech/marketplace.
• Strong multi-entity accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Own month‑end and year‑end close for multi-entity group across UK/US/Europe.
• Lead financial controls, calendars, and refine controls as business scales.
• Coordinate annual audit and statutory accounts preparation.
• Provide consolidated figures and schedules to CFO for decision making.
• Manage UK VAT, French TVA, German sales tax, US tax filings and transfer pricing.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, and pension feeds with external providers.
• Maintain cap table records and assist EMI/US 409A valuations.
• Handle company secretarial filings and global insurance renewals.
• Oversee AP/AR/GL and mentor junior finance staff.
• Drive cash flow reporting and multi-currency banking relationships.
• Act as admin owner for finance systems (Xero, Stripe, PayPal).
