Job summary

Fauna & Flora International seeks an experienced Financial Accountant to support the Financial Controller, oversee staff expenses, manage treasury activities and contribute to global payroll processes. The role emphasises development of financial training resources and cross‑functional collaboration across a multi-currency, global organisation based in Cambridge.

The position is permanent and starts as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• CCAB qualification or part-qualified and actively studying.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102.
• Proven experience in management reporting up to balance sheet reconciliation.
• Experience in payroll and HMRC employee expenses and benefits regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Financial Controller in day-to-day finance activities.
• Oversee staff expenses and treasury activities.
• Assist with and help prepare global payroll.
• Support timely production of management accounts.
• Develop and maintain financial training resources for staff.
• Collaborate across a multi-currency global organisation.
