Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions is helping a well-established organization in Cambridge recruit a Group Financial Accountant on a contract basis for 12 months. This position requires managing a small team while overseeing all financial and regulatory reporting tasks.

Job description

We are supporting a reputable Cambridge based organisation to recruit a Group Financial Accountant on an initial 12 month contract.

This role will report into the Head of FP&A and will manage a small team of 2, the key priorities are to manage all financial, statutory, tax, cashflow and regulatory reporting for the group.

Responsibilities

• Producing monthly management accounts
• Management of all VAT and corporate tax fillings
• Supporting the Head of FP&A to produce the annual statutory accounts
• Management of the treasury reporting including the cashflow reports
• Assist with the annual budgeting process
• Line management of 2 junior members of the team

You must be a qualified Accountant with proven experience in managing a small team and an accounting function. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders so strong communication and presentation skills are essential.

You will ideally be available to start a new role within the coming weeks or have a maximum of a 1 month notice.
