Job summary

Cosmic Equipment UK seeks a Support Engineer to install, commission and maintain our products at customer sites worldwide, including travel to Europe, North America and Asia. You will diagnose complex electronics, perform repairs to component level, and provide training and documentation to customers.

The role is based in Guildford with regular international travel, requiring a proactive, customer-focused engineer who can work across Engineering, Manufacture and Technical Sales teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience with component-level fault finding and repair.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites worldwide to install, commission, repair and maintain equipment.
• Provide technical support via online meetings, phone and email.
• Diagnose faults and repair electronic circuits to component level using schematics.
• Use oscilloscopes and digital voltmeters during diagnostics and repair.
• Document findings and recommend next steps for product improvement.
• Deliver product and system training to customers and colleagues.
