Job summary

Inchcape seeks a Head of External Communications to lead the global external communications strategy, shaping how the organisation communicates with external audiences and strengthening its reputation.

You will work with the CEO, Investor Relations and regional teams to deliver compelling narratives across corporate, financial and leadership communications, driving thought leadership and trust across markets.

Qualifications

• Experience developing communications strategies for international organisations.
• Proven track record building reputation and delivering impact across audiences and channels.
• Advising senior leaders on communications, stakeholder engagement and reputation management.
• Strong media engagement, corporate communications and executive communications expertise.
• Experience supporting financial communications or market-sensitive topics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Inchcape's global external communications strategy aligned to strategic priorities.
• Shape external representation and raise awareness of the business model and long-term value creation.
• Develop programmes to enhance reputation, thought leadership and leadership communications.
• Lead media engagement across international, national, trade and financial outlets.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations and regional teams to ensure a consistent narrative.
• Advise CEO and senior leaders on media engagement and reputation management.
• Develop external communications channels, resources and partnerships for impact and measurement.
• Oversee delivery of the Annual Report & Accounts and external digital channels with a cohesive narrative.
