Job summary

Urenco is seeking an Export Control Officer to join our Capenhurst team. You will provide expert export control support to the Technology & Development and Investment Programme functions, guiding new projects and ensuring compliance with applicable export control regulations.

You will work with stakeholders across UK, EU and US teams, delivering training, maintaining governance documentation, and driving continuous improvement in export control processes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Strong understanding of UK export control regulations and their application in a commercial environment.
• Experience with export licences and associated terms, conditions and obligations.

Responsibilities

• Provide export control advice and support to project teams, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and submit export licence applications through SPIRE and manage RFIs, licences and EUUs.
• Deliver export control training and raise awareness of UK, EU and US requirements.
