Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to join the Global Internal Tax Group in the UK. You will lead multi-jurisdictional expatriate tax planning for EY Global's senior leadership and manage cross-border tax and social security considerations.

The role reports to the lead Tax Director and offers exposure to international assignments, business travellers, and collaboration with Global Mobility, GCO, and partner tax teams across regions.

Qualifications

• Experience in expatriate tax compliance for UK expatriates.
• Familiarity with international tax treaties and social security rules.
• Ability to explain expatriate tax requirements to senior leadership.
• Experience with home/host country cross-border tax planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage expatriate tax and social security planning for EY Global senior leadership.
• Coordinate with EY Global Mobility, GCO, and other tax teams.
• Interpret the Global tax equalisation policy for international assignees.
• Support business travellers and cross-border travel tax cost analyses.
