Job summary

MMR Research Worldwide in Oxford is seeking a Global Events Manager to lead our global events strategy across conferences, exhibitions, sponsorships and hosted events worldwide. You will own the events budget, manage suppliers and sponsorships, measure ROI and collaborate with regional leaders to decide where and why we show up.

You’ll lead the Campaigns & Events Executive and work with the Global Campaigns Manager to deliver and promote events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of international B2B events experience.
• Track record delivering conferences, trade shows and webinars.
• Budget ownership and sponsorship negotiation experience.
• Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and global teams.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Own the global events strategy and annual events calendar, ensuring activity aligns with business and marketing priorities.
• Lead the delivery of conferences, exhibitions, sponsorships and webinars from planning through to execution and reporting.
• Manage event budgets, supplier relationships and sponsorship negotiations, maximising ROI and commercial value.
• Drive thought leadership opportunities, including speaking submissions, workshops and conference presentations.
• Partner with sales, marketing and operations teams to maximise lead generation, event performance and follow-up activity.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, event organisers and industry partners.
• Line manage and develop a Campaigns & Events Executive, ensuring priorities are effectively balanced across campaigns and events.
