Job summary

SailGP is seeking a Project Manager to deliver complex, multi-functional event sites as a single integrated system. The role involves vetting staff, overseeing construction, and coordinating across planning, procurement and live event teams. Travel to event locations will be required to supervise facilities construction and handover.

The position demands strong leadership, excellent communication and a robust safety record to ensure on-time delivery within budget across a global event portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage a diverse team on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience directing multi-contractor site operations across live events.
• Ability to develop and manage program schedules and delivery plans.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and RAMS compliance.
• SMSTS qualification required.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End site delivery across build, live event and de-rig phases.
• Direct SailGP staff and contractors on construction and pack-up.
• Coordinate transitions between build, live event and de-rig.
• Resolve site conflicts across disciplines.
• Lead pre-event site planning and sequencing.
• Oversee temporary infrastructure and ensure safety and quality.
• Support live event operations with real-time adjustments.
• Ensure RAMS and safety standards are enforced.
• Coordinate contractor and stakeholder activities.
