Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation seeks a Manager, Global Estimating Excellence to lead governance, standards, and platforms across the estimating function globally. You will own processes, tools, and knowledge management while partnering with Engineering, Pricing, Product Management, and IT to raise estimate quality and consistency.

The role requires strategic leadership and hands-on execution; travel up to 15% domestically and internationally is expected for collaboration and deployment across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
• 7+ years in estimating, pricing operations, or related roles
• Experience governing business processes in technical/commercial environments
• Strong knowledge of estimating methodologies, pricing, costing, and proposal development
• Experience leading process improvement and standardization initiatives
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and change leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain global estimating standards, methodologies, and best practices
• Establish governance frameworks to improve estimate quality and consistency
• Monitor compliance with estimating processes, controls, and approvals
• Lead audits to identify risks and opportunities for improvement
• Drive standardization across regions while supporting local needs
• Own estimating systems, templates, data quality, and workflows
• Improve adoption and usability of C1 and CPQ platforms
• Create and maintain centralized knowledge; develop training and onboarding materials
• Analyze performance metrics and optimize workflows for efficiency and scalability
• Collaborate with Engineering, Pricing, Product Management, and Finance globally
