Kraken is seeking an experienced Employment Counsel based in London to serve as the company’s primary legal advisor on employment matters. The role supports the People team and executives across jurisdictions, delivering strategic guidance on the employee lifecycle and regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• Qualified solicitor, barrister, or equivalent legal qualification in the UK or another major jurisdiction.
• Significant experience advising on employment law at leading law firms or multinational in-house teams.
• Expertise in UK/EU/US employment law and cross-border work.
• Experience advising People teams and senior leaders in a fast-paced global organization.
• Ability to independently manage complex and sensitive workplace issues.
• Experience handling workplace investigations, disputes, and litigation management.
• Strong commercial judgment with practical, business-oriented advice.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead employment-law advice across the business in partnership with People and leadership teams globally.
• Provide risk-based guidance on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, leaves, and terminations.
• Advise on compliance across jurisdictions and coordinate with external counsel as needed.
• Manage workplace investigations and sensitive matters with discretion.
• Draft and update employment agreements, policies, and handbooks.
