About the role

As a result of the continually growing demand for our specialist services, we are looking for an individual to join our expanding Global Mobility team in the National Employer Solutions department, as a compliance and advisory Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively working across a number of client accounts simultaneously, ensuring a premium client service by managing day-to-day client relationships and expectations.
  • Supporting the successful delivery of advisory projects, ensuring technical excellence with a practical and commercial approach.
  • Managing UK tax and social security compliance programs across a client portfolio (tax returns, payroll, tax briefings, social security compliance), ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Coordinating UK headquartered global mobility programmes.
  • Collaborating with Partners, Directors, and/or Associate Directors to develop new business and expand on existing client work, involving other colleagues, departments, and/or services when appropriate.
  • Handling day-to-day financial requirements of managing a client portfolio and acting as the first point of management within that process.
  • Acting as a people manager to junior staff, providing coaching, training, and career development support.
  • Reviewing personal development and aspirations with line managers, ensuring effective use of training and support resources.
  • Performing any other duties within the scope and purpose of the role as requested by management.

About the ideal candidate

This opportunity is suited to a self-starting individual who proactively takes responsibility and works well in a dynamic environment. You should have a strong foundation in expatriate tax and international social security, with an understanding of cross-border client complexities. ATT and/or CTA qualifications or equivalents are required, along with proven experience managing multiple client engagements and leading queries.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong risk awareness and review skills, knowing when to escalate issues.
  • Commercial awareness with adherence to financial parameters.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Experience in coaching, supervising, and motivating team members.
  • A team player capable of working collaboratively and inclusively.
