Job summary

Laboris Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical & Controls Technical Engineer to join a client in South Oxfordshire. You will design, test and commission bespoke electrical and control systems for projects worldwide, spending about 70% of time at the South Oxfordshire works and 30% travelling internationally.

Across in-house and customer projects, you will own activities from design through FAT, commissioning and documentation.

Qualifications

HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
5+ years' experience in electrical equipment design or supply.
Knowledge of low-voltage electrical and control systems; CAD experience (EPLAN advantageous).
Ability to work independently and collaborate with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

Electrical design: produce bespoke electrical and control system drawings.
Testing: perform FAT in-house and at customer sites.
Commissioning: support commissioning and operation of low-voltage control systems.
International projects: provide on-site technical support and supervise engineers worldwide.
Technical documentation: produce test reports and site documentation.
Problem solving: identify issues and ensure electrical systems perform safely and effectively.
