Job summary

Haleon in the United Kingdom is seeking a Director, R&D Procurement - Global to lead the strategic sourcing of pre-clinical, clinical, lab and outsourced services, managing £80m+ spend. You will shape end-to-end procurement strategies, engage senior stakeholders across R&D, Supply Chain, Commercial and Finance, and build a high-performing team.

The role requires deep category expertise, regulatory understanding, and a proven ability to deliver value through cost, quality and innovation across

Qualifications

• Education Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business or Science.
• Subject matter expertise in Clinical Studies sourcing and R&D outsourced services.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategy for R&D outsourced services and lab items that ensures high-quality services.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to deploy strategies globally, facilitated by robust implementation and transition plans.
• Generate value across quality, delivery, cost and innovation, contributing to the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Lead negotiations and manage contract planning, execution and maintenance with Legal input.
• Ensure compliance, risk management and supplier performance across Haleon’s portfolio.
