Job summary

Gilead Sciences, Inc. is seeking an Executive Director, GPS to lead distributor relationships and strategic market access across South and Southeast Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Latin America.

This role requires extensive pharmaceutical industry experience, proven leadership of large cross‑functional teams, and the ability to travel internationally up to 60%, with a Bachelor's degree (and advanced degree preferred).

Qualifications

• Extensive pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience including distributor management and regional/global leadership.
• Proven ability to lead large, complex programs across multiple functions and regions.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for GPS markets across multiple regions.
• Oversee distributor strategy, governance, performance, and market access initiatives.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration to evaluate market opportunities and develop business cases for product launches and lifecycle management.
• Represent Gilead with governments, NGOs, multilateral and commercial partners; drive external engagement and communications.
• Ensure compliance with Code of Conduct and regulatory requirements; drive governance and performance metrics.
