Job summary

Sportradar is seeking a Senior Director of Group Reporting and Technical Accounting to lead external financial reporting, group consolidation, and IFRS/SEC matters. This role reports to the Chief Accounting Officer and manages a global team across complex accounting issues and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in accounting, with at least 5 in senior reporting or technical roles, strong IFRS/SEC knowledge, and proven leadership in a NASDAQ-listed or global business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA or CPA required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a senior financial reporting or technical accounting role.
• Deep expertise in IFRS accounting standards and SEC reporting requirements.
• Demonstrated ability leading and mentoring accounting professionals and delivering timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of external financial statements and group consolidation.
• Own the group consolidation process, intercompany eliminations, and financial mapping.
• Prepare memorandums and analysis on complex accounting issues and new standards.
• Maintain SOX controls and coordinate external audits with auditors.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Legal and Compliance teams on accounting matters.
